We need to see if there is a possibility of getting a trash can from the town. A proposal was made to buy more chicken wire for the boardwalks as it seems to be working well on the bridge.
The NJCF stated they do not need a key to the lock on the gate. Dan Green suggested that we have a meeting with Bill Scullion from the NJCF to discuss a few issues.
Marie Bopp who lives near the trail told Ken Beyer that her grandmother once owned the current NJCF property. Marie said she has a painting of the original house which stood on the property. Ken stated that maybe a photo of this painting can be obtained.
Steve Kitay Living Trail: The deer stand has been removed from the trail by the owner and reassembled on the adjacent NJCF property in an area visible from the Silver Stream trail.
New Business: On National Trails Day weekend, there were two couples who came to the Purple Heart Trail and one individual who came to Silver Stream. Jackson Day is 9/19 and the Outdoor Expo is on 9/12 - 9/13. We will need volunteers to man the tables.
